Portrait of a comic book character I created—I’m calling him the Paperboy—with a large red handprint over his face. Inspired by comic art, DC’s the Joker, and 1920s mobsters. Layered linework, brush strokes, paint splatters and a variety of visual textures to create interest, detail, and dimension. Contrast between character and red handprint.
