Portrait of a character I created, called The Paperboy. Inspired by comic art and 1920s newsboys and mobsters. Put a large red handprint over his face symbolizing his passion to make statements, commit crime, and ensue violence. Layered line-work, brush strokes, paint splatters and a variety of visual textures to create interest, detail, and dimension.
